- Holy guacamole! Chipotle is so confident in their famous guacamole recipe that they've released it on their website. A 4-ounce portion of their guac has 230 calories. It's the chips that spell trouble. An ounce has over 140 calories, and according to their website, a serving of their chips and guac has 800 calories. We think we've seen every one of those ingredients in one of our recipes, actually ... - Say it ain't so! Speaking of avocados, New York Magazine posited a very scary reality: The severe California drought is putting a cramp in the avocado lifestyle. In fact, avocados may soon be a rarity in the foodie world. Everyone, just breathe ...

- Target: Millennials. In the near future, Whole Foods is opening a trendy, millennial-focused grocery store that will serve the younger generation what they crave/need in the food space: an authentic experience but at a lower price.

- Dining out hacks. Healthy eating in restaurants really is a possibility. We've been saying it for years, and now The New York Times offers some great tips for making your dining out moments more calorie-budget conscious. You just might have to get a little creative with the menu—and try some new places that cater more to health-minded eaters.
