February's Healthy Habit is Get Moving. (How many times have you said, "I really need to exercise more?") This month we're going to get it done, and the best way to start is by quantifying that goal.
- If you don't do any aerobic exercise, your challenge is to do it 3x per week, for 20 minutes per session.
- If you're exercising 3x per week, get to five.
This month's Healthy Habits Coaching Client is Shauna Ahern, AKA Gluten-Free Girl. I've admired Shauna for years (and I'm not alone). She writes a delicious blog about gluten-free eating, cooking, and most importantly, living. Through it, we've read as Shauna took on celiac disease, found an incredible partner, had a daughter, became a mom, and ate very very well.
Shauna writes about food and good living, and rarely discusses weight or dieting. Last spring, she wrote a bit about a genuine need to lose weight, and just last month (after losing 25 pounds), she wrote about judgement-free eating (and shared a wonderful recipe for Apple-Fennel Slaw with Tuna and Walnuts).
I can't wait to work with Shauna this month; I'm so eager to see how she rises to the challenge of this new goal.
