CookingLight.com has been named an Official Honoree for the Magazine category in the 13th Annual Webby Awards.

Known as the "Academy Awards of the Web," the Webby Awards rank among the most prestigious in the online business. With nearly 10,000 entries received from all 50 states and more than 60 countries, only the top 15 percent are awarded Official Honoree status.

"People who love Cooking Light want it served across a veritable menu of media, from the magazine, to our Supper Clubs, to this Web site," says Editor in Chief Mary Kay Culpepper. "We’re delighted CookingLight.com has been named an Official Honoree in the Webby Awards, one of the highest honors in the online world. To our way of thinking, it’s a testament to the way people consider this site and the magazine essential in their quest to eat smart, be fit, and live well."

This award comes on the heels of a major redesign of CookingLight.com, which unveiled its new site in November 2008. The new site better showcases the brand's stunning photography. Improved navigation, online exclusive franchises, and weekly nutrition and cooking videos make it easier than ever to use.
