January: Cassoulet
This classic, from our guide to casseroles, is the definition of heartiness. It's got creamy beans, luscious duck, spicy sausage,
and plenty of garlic for a one-pot meal that's sure to become an instant favorite. It cooks for a long time, but a batch made
over the weekend will feed a family of four for half the week (and they won't complain about eating leftovers, we promise).
