5 Low-Calorie Dippers for Your Favorite Guacamole

In honor of National Guacamole Day, I hope you're partaking in your favorite creamy, dreamy south-of-the-border dip. Any way you slice it, the combination of avocado, cilantro, lime, and salt is just heavenly (those of you who add more are heathens, in my opinion!). Unfortunately, however, those of us who are watching our caloric intake have to partake with an eye toward calories, too.

Chips, the usual accompaniment to guac, can pull in 140 calories per ounce (the amount in Original Tostitos). That's for only 7 chips, too! Ouch! That doesn't mean you have to skip the guacamole entirely. Instead, look for lighter, healthier dippers as alternatives to the fried corn chips. These 5 ideas below give you an entire cup of scooping action, and all for 50 calories or less!

Now pick your dipper, pick your favorite guacamole recipe, and celebrate in tasty fashion!
