Snag these good-for-you treats for delicious fall flavor during snack time.

It seems like as soon as the leaves start to turn, suddenly everything turns pumpkin. I'm not talking about some Cinderella fairytale where everything literally turns into a pumpkin, but rather when everything becomes pumpkin flavored.

I thought I had truly found my end to pumpkin spice this and pumpkin seed that — until I sampled some delicious fall snacks that will help keep me on track to a healthy holiday season. Here are four of the Cooking Light staff's favorite fall treats that put us in the seasonal spirit and kept us fueled all afternoon long.

CVS Pharmacy

Gold Emblem Dry-Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

These were seriously one of the best snacks I've had in a long time. No fuss, flavors, or crazy ingredients, just true pumpkin seeds roasted and tossed in some salt. They are perfect. If you want something simple, crunchy, protein-packed, and a little salty, this is the snack for you. Snag a bag of these or their spicy, honey-flavored cousin at your local CVS store

Here’s a sample of what other Cooking Light staffers had to say:

"It's delicious!"

"I love the sweet and salty. No weird ingredients either."

"The new healthy sunflower seed."

CVS Pharmacy

KIND Maple Glazed Pecan and Sea Salt Bar

Almonds, peanuts, and pecans give this bar a crunchy bite, while honey and maple syrup work together to naturally sweeten it up. This high-protein bar will keep you full and feeling fall while you snack at your desk or maybe while taking a brisk walk under fall foliage. Whatever floats your boat.

Here’s a sample of what Cooking Light staffers had to say:

"My favorite KIND bar! Heavy on the maple, but not overly sweet. Really nice!"

"YUM. So yummy. Nutty and addictive."

CVS Pharmacy

KIND Maple Pumpkin Seeds with Sea Salt

The whole grain blend in this bar brings in delicious oats, brown rice, millet, oat flour, buckwheat, amaranth, and quinoa for a filling and tasty treat. Pumpkin and sunflower seeds add a nice, crunchy bite and maple syrup sets the fall scene.

Here’s a sample of what Cooking Light staffers had to say:

"I like these- not too sweet or maple flavored. Five grams of sugar isn't too bad! Nice crunch from the pumpkin seeds."

"Reminds me of oatmeal you have as a kid- I like it!"

CVS Pharmacy

KIND Caramel Almond Pumpkin Spice Bar

Toss your PSL and grab one of these limited-edition bars before they disappear. Cashews, almonds, peanuts, and pecans make this delicious bar super filling, and at only 200 calories a bar it's definitely worth your while. You can even find real ingredients on the box like pumpkin, nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon, and cardamom.

Here’s a sample of what Cooking Light staffers had to say:

"OBSESSED! Not too sweet and all the right fall flavors."

"Love this- perfect balance of spicy and sweet."
