September is my New Year. Sure, each calendar year technically begins in January, but as the child of a teacher, September is when the year starts anew in my book. It seems for many of us, September is also a time to restart or refresh our routine. For folks around here, school has been in session for a few weeks already. For others, it'll start up soon. With that in mind, I've pulled together 5 fast and fabulous dinners from our September issue, which is available on newsstands or on tablets currently. You really should give these dishes a try this month.

Sweet and Spicy Carrot Soup - That gorgeous color is only the beginning of what you'll love about this soup. Serve a bowl with a crowd-pleasing grilled cheese, and you'll have a go-to weeknight meal the whole family will request again and again.
