Grilled Clams with Sambuca and Italian Sausage

To keep the clams from falling through the grill rack, use a shellfish grate or a vegetable grill grate. Or buy bigger clams; you can set them directly on the grill rack. To keep clams fresh, store them in an open bowl in the refrigerator, and use them as soon as possible. Avoid storing clams in a sealed plastic bag or on ice.
