Bake a Second Batch: Hazelnut Lace for Mother's Day

Photo: Randy Mayor

Treat your mom (and yourself) to a giant, chocolate-drizzled cookie.

Somewhere between candy, cookie, and nut brittle lies Hazelnut Lace—a recipe that combines hazelnut meal (very finely ground nuts), a splash of Frangelico, and chocolate-hazelnut spread for a triple hit of nutty goodness. It's a sophisticated dessert, with its large, pizza-sized shape and artfully pebbled texture. If hazelnuts aren't your mother's favorite, we have an almond variation that's just as pretty and delicious. And because both versions take only 21 minutes to make, baking a second batch couldn't be easier.
