What is your favorite kitchen innovation from the past 20 years?

The internet! Despite my cookbook library, I rely on the web for most of my recipes, ideas, and directions.

I would say the size and innovation of the kitchen itself! We have gone from the galley style kitchen to the kitchen that is the center and heart of the home. Granite, stainless steel, center islands for prep, multiple sinks, double ovens and dishwashers, beautiful cabinets, wine captains, large pantries. I could go on and on. The possibilities are limitless.

Tough one. I definitely second the internet, immersion blender and CL. I'll add anything OXO to the list. I love their products. They're easy to use, well designed and just work better (in my opinion) then the same tools that are just not OXO.
