Cooking Light Supper Clubs™
Cooking Light Supper Club Sampling Events are a great way to meet new people, share ideas, and dine on delicious Cooking Light cuisine. Upon arrival, guests are introduced to the theme and enjoy a sampling and mingling reception before Cooking Light Executive Chef Billy begins his live cooking demonstration. Guests gain insider tips on how to prepare the featured Supper Club menu as the four-course dining experience begins. Cooking Light provides advertisers the opportunity to be an official Supper Club Sponsor. Advertisers will also have the opportunity to provide our 180 guests (per event) with information, coupons and gift samples.
In 2006, we expanded our Supper Club opportunities beyond Event Sampling and Single-Sponsor Series to include the new Signature Cooking Light Supper Club™ Program. A limited number of category exclusive brands meet our readers on both a GRAND and INTIMATE scale. Sponsors have the opportunity to reach 12 million readers in an exclusive Special Advertising Section, speak to a community of 50,000 Cooking Light Supper Club members through a themed mini-magazine and online community, and lastly shake hands with readers at events around the country. Cooking Light Ship Shape Cruise
Each year, Cooking Light hosts a ship-shape adventure aboard Norwegian Cruise Line. Sailing to exotic locations such as the Mexican Riviera, the Eastern Caribbean and more, the Ship Shape Cruise is hosted on one of Norwegian’s world-class luxury resorts at sea. On board, Cooking Light editors present reader-only, fun-filled activities, parties, live cooking demonstrations, beauty seminars, fitness classes and food & wine tastings. Cooking Light offers advertisers the opportunity to sponsor the Cruise and treat all of our passengers to seminars and demonstrations while on board. Cooking Light works closely with each advertiser to customize a sponsorship package that best promotes its brands. Cooking Light Ultimate Reader Recipe Contest
The Cooking Light Ultimate Reader Recipe Contest asks readers to submit their favorite light recipes in its fourth annual Ultimate Reader Recipe Contest. After sifting through thousands of entries, twelve finalists are selected to travel to the Cooking Light Test Kitchens, where they compete in an on-sight cook-off for a chance to win a portion of more than $40,000 in cash and prizes. One Grand Prize winner receives $20,000. Four Category Winners each receive $5,000 and branded recipe winners receive $500 each. Winning recipes will appear in editorial pages in Jan/Feb 2009.
