Project team

Builder: Brad Hosmar, Director of Product Development, Arbor Custom Homes. Hosmar is responsible for guiding the overall direction of the company's innovative home-design and construction principles, which have become trademarks in the building community. He oversees everything from floor-plan concepts and unique exterior styles to the buyer's experience through a state-of-the-art design studio, arborhomes.com.

Interior designer: Jennifer Usselman, owner of Intersect Design located in Portland, Oregon, puts an emphasis on designing spaces that not only function well but also give the inhabitants a sense of place and inspiration. She has more than 17 years of experience in residential and commercial interiors and a true passion for what she calls "intentional design," meaning that nothing is done without thought behind it.

Charity partner: Celebrating 139 years of service, the Oregon Humane Society (OHS) is the largest and oldest humane society in the Northwest. Last year, OHS found homes for more than 9,000 animals, investigated 930 reports of animal abuse and neglect, and reached almost 20,000 children through humane education programs. Pets stay available for adoption without any time limits, and OHS has one of the highest adoption rates for cats and dogs in the nation. OHS relies entirely on private donations and receives no tax dollars to operate its many programs. Half of the proceeds from tickets sales to the 2008 FitHouse will benefit the Oregon Humane Society.
