Flavor description
This dark-red powder, derived from the ground berries of the Mediterranean sumac bush, smells and tastes like lemon.

How to use
Sprinkled on meat and fish, mixed with yogurt dressings, or stirred into cooking onions, sumac provides a bright, distinctive flavor and a sunny yellow tint. Store in an airtight container in the pantry.
