Flavor description
This chile powder is made from dried smoked jalapeño peppers. The flavor is smoky and hot, with subtle chocolate notes.

How to use
Use in any application where you would use regular chili powder--just know that ground chipotle chile pepper will add more heat and a stronger flavor. Start with less, and add more to taste. Store in a cool, dark place for up to six months.

How to find
Look on the spice aisle at your supermarket--Spice Hunter and McCormick, two readily available brands, make the product.
