Trying to earn four stars from a travel guide is nothing compared to cooking a meal to please a child. They are simply the most difficult diners around, and they have the subtlety of a load of bricks when expressing their, shall we say, displeasure with the culinary composition of a meal -- "yuck," "phooey," and "ick" being some of the favorite comments. Luckily, their palates are not complex, and once you have a dish they like, they have no qualms about eating it time and time again. These dishes are surefire kid meals.
