Your parenting muscles (not to mention your patience) are likely getting a workout.
And chances are, one of your most frequent forms of exercise is nutritional tug
of war. As any parent knows, getting kids to eat something that's good for
them is as difficult as, well, getting kids to eat something that's good
for them. That's where we can help.
One of the best ways to fire up your little ones about healthful meals is to serve
something they literally can't wait to get their hands on. So we've
concocted some no-fork-required, kid-friendly entrees such as Crispy Chicken
Drumsticks and Sloppy Joes. And, because some kids would rather nibble than sit
down to a meal, we've included some fun low-fat snacks such as Pint-size
PB-and-J Muffins and Cheese Fries. For dessert, we found a way to sneak in a serving
or two of fruit that even the most stubborn eater won't turn down: Fruit
Kebabs With Creamy Strawberry Dip. Kids won't have a clue that something
that tastes this good is also good for them.
Now if you can only get them to help with the dishes.
