KIND makes delicious nutbars, and one of the two they’re introducing this month is a real winner—Maple Glazed Pecan and Sea Salt. Yes, it carries on the endless enthusiasm for salt in sweet foods (if we see another salted caramel sauce we will officially be bored)— but it’s simply delicious. Strong, real maple flavor, a nice tang of salt (but only 140 mg in the 210-calorie bar), and powerful toasted-nut flavors and crunch.

But we’re not as impressed with the new Dark Chocolate Chili Almond bar: The nuts and chocolate are fine but the chili is a bit odd—elusive at first, then appearing late in the chew as a bit of puzzling burn.
