Salsa Verde

Stir a dollop into soups, wake up sleepy eggs, or use as a shortcut for guacamole: Mash an avocado, mix in some salsa verde, and you're good to go.

GRAND PRIZE WINNER: Walmart World Table.
This is a chip clinger with cumin, salt, and heat all getting their turn on the palate. Tangy with a smoky endnote—you can tell the jalapeños were roasted properly.

Thick body with nice chunks of fresh tomatillo and lots of jalapeño seeds to add textural interest.
