I'm a big fan of multitaskers, even when it comes to food. So when New Belgium decided to combine chocolate and beer into a dessert stout, I said "Bring. It. On."

At 9% ABV, the Salted Belgian Chocolate Stout is pitch black dark with a bold tan foam and complex flavor throughout. It starts slightly sweet, enhanced by a subtle saltiness, and turns mildly bitter with a warm chocolatey finish.

It's smooth and balanced but rich. We're dreaming of creamy beer floats with this brew:

Grab a glass, drop a scoop of vanilla ice cream (or maybe even coffee ice cream), top off with stout, and add a cherry on top.
