Christiane's Bacon-Corn Chowder with Shrimp
Christiane's verdict: "This was well and truly a fantastic chowder. The corn was what I had put away myself earlier this summer, so its freshness may have influenced the dish somewhat, but it's a truly great recipe and one that we'll use often this winter. I don't think I'd want to add anything. Cooking Light does an excellent job of balancing the sweetness of the corn with the saltiness of bacon. The lightness of the thyme is a perfect complement to the shrimp. The dish works well."
