Why do you love cooking? To be an artist in the kitchen is to love both the moment of creation and of consumption. It’s a rare creative endeavor that nourishes the mind and body. Also, cooking is just plain fun.
What should readers know about you? I’m a former physicist-turned-registered dietitian who aims for the intersection of happy and healthy. My blog’s title, The Happiness in Health, embodies one of my strongest beliefs about ourselves: Health and emotion are tied together in a package called “well-being”, and each will affect the other, even if we don’t consciously realize it.

When and why did you start blogging? August of 2010. My friends and family were tired of me constantly posting pictures of my dinner on Facebook and they encouraged me to start a blog to keep track of all the recipes I was making!
What should readers know about you? I’m a Registered Dietitian, social media addict, animal lover and a fitness junkie. I love to stay busy so I’m always working on multiple projects and I think life’s too short to not do what you love, so I’m following my dreams and blazing my own trail one day at a time!
